How is my number chosen?
At random. Every rug is numbered by hand, and we do not know which number is in which box until you open it. That is deliberate. The reveal is yours.
Can I choose or swap my number?
No. Numbers are allocated at random and cannot be chosen or exchanged. Every number from 1 to 1,111 exists once and belongs to whoever unboxes it.
Which numbers are set aside?
Number 1 is with Paris. Number 2 stays in The House. Numbers 3 to 10 are gifted to friends of the edition. Two numbers, 666 and 911, are never allocated at random; if you would like one, email us and it is yours at the standard price. Every other number is allocated at random.
What is on the back of the rug?
Your number, written by hand, and a QR code. Scan it and Jen has something to say to you, and you can record your number in the edition on our website.
Why do later numbers take longer?
Because they have not been made yet. Every rug is hand-tufted, and the numbers from 556 are made for the people who ordered them. You will see the workshop before your rug ships.
Will mine arrive before Christmas?
Numbers 1 to 150 ship within days of launch. Numbers up to 555 arrive in December. From 556, no: they arrive mid-January to mid-February, and we would rather tell you now than in December.
