Yes, we charge a small first consultation fee of $50 to cover the cost of our designer’s time. However, if you progress to placing the order for your rug, this fee is fully refundable against the final cost of your order. Our designers will be in regular contact with you via email during the design process, but if you need to speak with them again, we're happy to arrange another call.

Custom pricing depends on size, the complexity of the design, and materials. After your consultation we will send a clear, no-obligation quote, so you'll know the full cost before anything is made.

No, shipping is fully included in the no-obligation quote we send you, so the price you approve is the price you pay. There are no surprise delivery charges added later, wherever you are in the world.

Typically 10-12 weeks from approved design to delivery, plus the initial design stage. We'll give you a timeline with your quote and keep you updated through production.

Your quote includes 2 rounds of design revisions so we can get it exactly right, and we only begin production once you've given final approval. Any additional design revisions are charged at $50 per round.

We make almost any size or shape to your exact dimensions, and we can work to a specific palette or match a room. Share references on your call and our design team takes it from there.

Yes, we deliver custom pieces worldwide. Each rug is checked before it ships to ensure it matches the final approved design; if anything isn't right on arrival, email info@wearthehouse.com and we'll get back to you ASAP. Custom pieces are non-returnable as they're made to order. Refunds will only be considered if your rug fails to arrive in the condition in which it was packed when leaving our facility.
