RETURNS - 14 Days
If you are not completely happy with an item you have purchased from us you can return it for a FULL REFUND* You must inform us of your intention to return goods within 14 days from the date the order is delivered by emailing Jennifer@wearthehouse.com
When returning goods please ensure they are well packaged. If goods are returned In used, dirty or damaged condition no refund can be issued.
You are responsible for return postage costs. Please email us and will we quote you shipping costs which will be deducted from your refund.
IMPORTANT
Please include your name or order number on the outside of the packaging to enable us to identify and refund your order.

* For international order we are not able to refund customs and duties. It is the responsibility of the customers to get in touch with the local customs to request a refund.

If you would like to exchange your order please follow our normal returns procedure above. Once we have received your return we will email you to confirm you have been refunded in full. Then you can simply place a brand new order on our website for the other rug you wish to purchase.

To help you with your recent Gem purchase, we have put together a Gem Rug care guide with useful tips and instructions on how to take care of your precious Gemstones.Make sure to follow our simple Guide to caring for you Gems.
1.) UNPACKAGING YOUR GEM
When your New Gem arrives be careful when opening and if you use scissors to open, be very careful not to damage your rug, try to avoid using scissors or anything sharp that can damage your rug.Let your rug lay flat before placing in position as we deliver rolled, also allow time for the pile to settle.
2.) SPILLAGES
Accidents and spillages can often happen and to reduce the risk of damage you should always act immediately by absorbing any liquids before they penetrate deep into the yarns where cleaning is more difficult. We recommend using a damp, white, cotton cloth which should be placed on top of the area and left to absorb the spillage. The area should not be rubbed as this will damage the surface of the rug. Stubborn stains can be removed by specialist cleaning companies who will have the experience and knowledge to deal with the problem.
3.) HOOVERING
We recommend using the nozzle attachment to lightly Hoover your rug as this will remove any surface dust and to yarns. It is important to avoid the use of Hoover brushes as they can break up the yarns creating excessive shedding, and this will considerably reduce the life of your rug.
4.) SHEDDING
Shedding is a natural characteristic of many filament fibers such as Wool, Acrylic and Polyester and can be quite noticeable during initial use, this will settle over time.
